Who Says?

I got the inspired to draw a peacock from this post.

Then I thought it would be cool to write in the different feathers.

They say it takes intelligence to hold two opposing views in your head at the same time…well, I don’t know if that’s true but it is something I do a lot.

After I drew this little guy, I thought he resembled the little gecko from those geiko commercials.

I thought this view was pretty cool.

I think I like the way these art journal pages look with the watercolor as the base.

who says doc 001 copy

And this is what all that ramblin’ reading says.  A fun collection of little quips people say.

Your peacock is fantastic! And his face does remind me of the gecko from Geico! I like what you wrote, too. I always wonder who "they" are,the ones everyone refers to as in "they said"....

Now that is one cool peacock Eden and I love all the words you have in there. What a fun piece of art. I agree with Janet too, who are "they" anyway... I love the questions you are asking

Love the Rainbow Peacock and especially LOVE the text - it really grabs the Calligapher in me!

Loved your last post about the art supplies as well. If you like Dr Martin's Bombay Ink, you'll love the Dr Martin's Pen White - the ultimate in White ink - writes on anything and covers anything, all in a smooth matte finish.

Cheers,

Cindy

About Me

My photo
By day...I work in the Healthcare field, where every .. i.. has to be dotted and every ..t.. has to be crossed. This blog is the place where I can let myself go and have some fun. I am on a journey. A journey I started a long time ago, but it has been a bit sidetracked with Navy Wife relocations and raising kids. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and I have got some time for me. No, I will not be one of those moms walking around the house with Empty Nest Syndrome, I have got way too much to do, to learn, to create. Sure, once the kids are gone I will miss them....but hey, there is always the phone, the email, the texting and the Plane tickets! I love my life and my family and It is fun moving into this new stage. I am into Digital Scrapbooking, photography, journaling, Art Journaling and Drawing. I am a do-it-yourselfer and I am trying to teach myself to draw. I am finding that it takes a lot of patience, lots of practice and a good eraser!
