Water is the photo theme this week, as you can see. Mine is the lower picture. I hurried down the bleachers before my daughters meet was underway to snap this shot of the clean, calm, quiet water! Nothing used to excite me more than seeing a pool in the middle of the winter so still like this. I was always tempted to just jump in (even fully clothed) and start swimming…..back when I was ten, of course…..I never did, but wouldn’t have complained if I got pushed in.
I don’t know the full scoop about Chel’s picture (the top one) so we’ll all have to head over to her blog and find out!

Your photo reminds me so much of swimming in my college pool in the early mornings. While I miss how long it was, I don't miss jamming in the lanes with other swimmers! I love the contrast between the blue water and the red/white lane markers :)
I swam in High School, not college. My hats are off to you college athletes! I'm glad you're still swimming too! I'm pretty spoiled now, anytime I swim I get a WHOLE LANE to myself!
Where is the 1st image from? It's very beautiful and relaxing to stare at.
I've been so inspired by your portrait sketches that I actually put pencil to paper and did one today. Now I'm excited and anxious to do more. Thank you, Eden.
Way to go Eileen!! You may just surprise yourself!! I agree about Chel's picture, love those colors, too :D
Makes me want to go jump in a lake! A little cold for that but swimming is so heavenly!

I remember taking my kids to swimming lessons at the YMCA in the middle of CT winters. Your photo brings back fun (and freezing) memories. As for jumping in with your clothes on? I say it's never too late...
