The first time I heard this quote I was a new mom to my first child! I loved these words! They empowered me! They reinforced the fact that I have a lot of influence over my young sons life. Everything I do, the promises I fulfill will have such a lasting impact on his world. I was building trust. I was building character. I was building a person with his own strong personality and strengths. Our consistency in raising our kids has helped them to know how to trust their teachers, then their friends and hopefully have a good character judgment as they chose their future spouses. Then…..with my future grandkids. Ahhh……the circle of life!
Anyway, didn’t mean to go off on a child-rearing tangent but the quote added to the main reason I’m posting today. I’ve finished my doodle hand. Talk about relaxing! If you haven’t given doodling a try since grade school, I urge you to do it! You don’t have to show anyone. But it would be fun to see. You can easily upload them to flickr.
